What We’re Doing
We’d like to extend a big, warm, WAFFly thanks for all you lovelies who helped us make The Reckless Ruthless Brutal Charge of It, or The Train Play such a success. We had a great run, collected a bunch of food and monetary donations for Lakeview Pantry, and drank a lot of Heineken (and Amstel Light)… none of which would have been possible without our awesome design/tech team, our amazing cast, and the best audiences in the world. Without you, we’re just a bunch of weirdos in a little black room.
Thank you.

A scientist in flight from a terrifying truth she’s only glimpsed. A twelve-year-old superhero in flight from her ordinary life. A goddess on the lam from boredom, and a trio of Russian brothers on a musical mission. Eight strangers face the end of the universe one night on a train in America, hurtling along a comic-poetic collision course with time, history, and a supernatural climax.
It’s the end of the world as we know it. All aboard.

In honor of our host’s mission of making theater accessible to all, every performance of the run is “Pay What You Can” or “Name Your Own Price” or “Free, Donations Accepted”–take your pick.
In keeping with our own dedication to fighting hunger in Chicago, we continue to encourage our patrons to bring non-perishable food items as a donation to Lakeview Pantry, WAFF’s partner in community service. While we are unable to offer a discounted ticket price in exchange for these food donations, we would like to offer you a drink on the house.
Show us your cans, we’ll give you a bottle.
