2008 was pretty good to us, here's a recap:

Listed as an MPick, Windy City Times Fall Theatre Preview Critic's Pick, RedEye Best Bet, and TimeOut Chicago Critic's Pick, Will Act For Food's production of Clive Barker's Frankenstein in Love opened to packed houses, leaving a trail of blood in its path...and it did not disappoint. We had a great time working on this beast, and audiences had a great time being horrified by it.

Will Act For Food would like to thank everyone who came out to see The House of Yes this past spring. We had a fantastic time working with everyone involved, and managed to raise approximately 750 lbs of food for Lakeview Pantry. Not too shabby!

As you may know, we participated in Chicago's Looptopia Festival this year. We were stationed in the Miro Plaza from 5-9 on Friday, May 2. It rained. A lot. Nevertheless, we remained at our post to the delight of throngs of people who clamored for a chance to show us their cans and spin the WAFF Wheel-O-Fun, causing us to do something strange and/or hilarious.

Then, this past June, WAFF co-produced a benefit for NoResolve, a nonprofit organization for suicide prevention and awareness. A shockingly low price of $15 got you into Martyr's, where JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound, Student Driver Band and Mas Trueno rocked you to the point of insanity.
